UNLV student earns shot at Miss USAWhen Tammie Rankin began modeling 11 years ago, she never dreamed she'd have the chance to become Miss USA.Rankin only wanted to emulate her older sister, Suzette Norand, a professional dancer who dabbled in singing and modeling. "I admired her so much. She inspired me to sing, dance and become a model," a bubbling Rankin said, recalling how she loved attending her sister's modeling and dance classes.
