The Orleans to host screening

The Oscar winning documentary, "The Long Way Home" will have a one time only screening in Las Vegas at 7 p.m. Monday at The Orleans. Tickets are $5.
The documentary examines the plight of Holocaust survivors following World War II, their attempts to get the Jewish Homeland and other tragedies of the Jewish people.
Combining rare archival film and stills with new interviews, "The Long Way Home" interweaves historical narrative with stories, anecdotes and recollections of Jewish refugees.
Adat Ari El is sponsoring the showing in conjunction with the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Rabbi Martin Hier, co-producer of the film, will be the guest of honor at a wine and cheese reception following the film. The cost to attend the movie and reception is $15.
