Hallelujah Christian Fellowship is celebrating Tru Love Waits Week in an effort to encourage and challenge teens to go against the sexual pressures they face.
At 7 p.m. Friday Karie Weston will speak on "Passion and Principles." During the past six years, Weston has spoken to thousands of teens and adults about what it takes to remain a virgin in a society obsessed with sex. She encourages teens and young adults to reclaim their passion for God's principles. Parents are encouraged to come and gain tools to help train their teens in abstinence.
The celebration continues with Christian music newcomers, Unity Klan and Tonex, who will perform rap and hip-hop at 7 p.m. Saturday. These young artists, offering music with a message, will challenge the audience to a higher commitment to Christ.
Hallelujah Christian Fellowship is located at 800 N. Rancho Drive. For more information about the events, call 646-7332.
