Traditional Jewish preschool planned

Congregation Ner Tamid will be opening its preschool on Aug. 24, under the direction of Lois Bergman, who has more than 25 years of experience in Jewish education and preschool operation.
The school will be a traditional Jewish preschool although enrollment is open to all children ages 2 1/2 to 5. With quality education in mind, enrollment will be limited.
School programs will be offered full- and part-time and before and after school. Enrichment classes including art, dance and gymnastics will be offered in the afternoon.
Weekly tuition rates are $100 for five full-days (9 a.m.-4 p.m.); $75 for three full-days (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) or five half-days (9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.); and $60 for three half-days (9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). Tuition is due bi-weekly. Before school program hours are 7-9 a.m. and cost $4 per hour.
The school is located at 2761 Emerson Ave., one block south of Desert Inn Road, off Eastern Avenue. Those interested can call 313-5270.
-- The patriotic musical "I Love America" will be presented free by the Son-Rise Singers at 6 p.m. on July 5, followed by an ice cream and watermelon fellowship.
The event will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church, 1780 Betty Lane, two blocks east of Nellis Boulevard, between Owens Avenue and Lake Mead Boulevard.
