Pastor to visit West Valley Assembly

      Pastor Sean Smith of Mario Murillo Ministries will visit West Valley Assembly this weekend.
      Smith will speak at a Saturday Night Revival Service starting at 6 p.m. He will also address the congregation at worship services at 8:15 a.m., 9:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday.
      West Valley Assembly is located at 8100 Westcliff Drive. Those interested can call 242-2273.
     n Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 6670 W. Cheyenne Ave., recently received a $450 contribution from Lutheran Brotherhood, a fraternal benefit society.
      The Brotherhood matched the amount raised by the congregation during its White Elephant sale in September. The church plans to use the money for a security door.
     n Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive, will hold special services Tuesday to commemorate World AIDS Day.
      A 7:30 a.m. prayer vigil will precede the 8 a.m. Mass. At 2 p.m., the church will ring its steeple bells 18 times, signifying the number of years of the epidemic. at 7:30 p.m. a closing prayer will conclude the day's activities.
