      Sandra Messina's studio is a gathering place for local artists.
      She calls her garage and outdoor area near her home at 4959 E. Van Buren Ave. "The Ranch." Many times, the Desert Sculptors meet there to exchange ideas and plan events.

Auction raises money for club

      A number of pocketbooks throughout the valley were feeling a lot lighter following the Henderson Boys & Girls Club's 20th Annual Auction on April 10.
      However, the generosity of those in attendance led club Executive Director Clyde Caldwell to proclaim this year's event the most successful ever.
