      A couple of years ago, Tim Schumacher got a call from Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority officials asking his company to bid on maintaining fertilizing injector systems along the Strip.
      Schumacher's Bio-Green company had specialized in lawn and tree care and didn't have expertise in fertilizing injector systems.
