Welcome home By Tina Allen      View staff writer       An influx of new Clark County School District teachers from out of state are feeling a bit more at home with the help of the district's New Teacher Welcome Center.       "We're here to show them all the different support that's available in Las Vegas, not just with us, but throughout the whole city, and help them to feel welcome," said Edana Shawver, a third-grade teacher at Kim Elementary School and a member of the New Teacher Cadre, a district group focused on planning, organization, classroom management and efficient instruction.
