Back to school

Though only weeks into her new job as a school board trustee, Sheila Moulton says she's been prepping for the position for the latter part of her life.
      "I was always active in my children's education, and I see this as an extension of that activism," she said.
      Moulton replaced the twice-elected Judy Witt, who chose not to seek a third term as the Clark County School District school board trustee for District G. A longtime friend, Witt encouraged Moulton to run for the post, which pays $80 per meeting. There are as many as three meetings a month.
      Moulton represents 85,000 voters in a district that stretches east to Maryland Parkway, west past Hollywood Boulevard, north to Bonanza Road and south to Sunset Board.
