Local earns Rhodes scholarship

      Even though Henderson resident Ryan Max Rowberry has achieved the lofty title of Rhodes scholar he still has time to shoot hoops with his four brothers and father, David Rowberry.
      While home visiting for the holidays, the Brigham Young University senior took some time out to not only bounce the basketball around on the driveway, but play some soccer with his family of nine.

Center's offerings maturing

      While Henderson has grown in many ways -- ranging from population to perception -- one city entity that has not matured as quickly is the Convention Center.
      However, city officials are taking steps to expand the role of the center by incorporating a Visitors Bureau for the facility in order to better market Henderson, as well as its offerings.
