Singer set to perform at meeting

      Song stylist Bobby Shawn will perform at the upcoming Golden Chai meeting.
      Shawn is known for his ability to sing any popular song members of his audience submit.
      The meeting will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday and is open to everyone. Brunch will be served for $2, with yearly memberships available for $8.
      Golden Chai meets at Congregation Ner Tamid, 2761 Emerson Ave.
      n St. John Neumann Catholic Church is seeking volunteers to assist with its Mass services upon completion of its new facility at 4519 Simmons St.
      The new parish, which hopes to begin regular services in February, is in need of choir members, alter persons, ushers, eucharistic ministers and others.

      n Hadassah Aviva will welcome sex therapist Carole Altman to its January meeting.
      The breakfast meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Pavilion Room of the Sante Fe, 4949 N. Rancho Drive.
