Principal preparing for school opening

      There are pros and cons to opening a new school, as Lee Douglass, principal of the new Neal Elementary School, can attest.
      "The most difficult part is to leave your existing school and your existing staff and student body and community," said Douglass, who has spent the past four years as administrator of Gragson Elementary. "That was really very difficult."

Couple helping families

      Life couldn't be better -- or worse -- for Richard and Brenda Sinclair.
      The couple just received not-for-profit status for an organization designed to help families going through transplant surgery. But it was their own experience with daughter Crystal's own liver transplant three years ago, in addition to her cystic fibrosis, that caused them to form an organization to help others.
