      For Marion Gray fifth-grader Aaron Ross, that hero is aide Carol Ann Ewing, who has been helping him learn braille and get around school since he was in the first grade.

Boys & Girls Club opening in Green Valley

      The Boys & Girls Club of Las Vegas is making its way into Green Valley.
      The new $7 million, 44,000-square-foot facility, located east of Eastern Avenue at 2980 Robindale Road, is gearing up for its June 21 opening. The club is situated on Clark County land, but Executive Director Deborah Verges said it doesn't matter where a child is from, whether it be Las Vegas or Henderson, they are welcome at the club.
