Children encouraged to cool off in libraryBy Chris JonesView staff writer Thanks to a program sponsored by the Clark County Library District, students around the valley might not be in a hurry to put their books down during their summer vacation. The district's Summer Reading Program is planned for more than 20 libraries in and around Las Vegas. Through the program, participants will have the chance to pick up prizes based on the amount of time they spend reading during the summer months. FULL TEXT
