      In fact, despite years of work and millions of dollars spent to eradicate it, homelessness is still on the rise -- a defiant trend that persists even as other social ills are waning.

      The Clark County Community Resource Center opened recently, offering a variety of community services to North and West Las Vegas residents.
      Located at 2428 Martin Luther King Blvd., the 8-acre campus houses several government agencies, including a senior center, neighborhood services and the North Las Vegas Justice Court.
