      Stuck in a professional quagmire and yearning for something more, Betty Mahalik hired a personal coach in 1996.
      The coach removed the bottlenecks in her career and invigorated the business she started in 1987, Dynamic Solutions, which provides personal coaching. Three weeks ago, she took her coaching skills to the Internet, launching www.dynamic-solutions.com. The Web site features Monday morning coach, a weekly installment of helpful hints and motivational thoughts.

Parents involved at school

      Parents with preschoolers who attend Kids Co-Op have added a new dimension of parent involvement in their children's education.
      In order for their children to attend the cooperative school, located at 3460 N. Rancho Drive, parents are required to spend two to three days per month helping in the classroom.
