      When Paul Oisboid was earning his bachelor's degree at the University of California in Irvine, the biological sciences major thought his studies might lead him to a career in medicine.
      But a few years and experiments later during graduate school, Oisboid had a change of plans -- plans that led him to the Clark County School District.
