Braving winter-like weather on the second day of spring, a crowd of nearly 900 people gathered to participate in the dedication of the McCaw School of Mines visitors center on March 21.
The opening of the $500,000 facility marks the second phase of development for the School of Mines, an interactive educational exhibit located on the campus of McCaw Elementary at 57 Lynn Lane.
