School derives pride from mural

      Ira J. Earl Elementary opened in 1964, and even though the school has aged well, it needed an extra dose of pride.
      Respect for the 35-year-old school can be heard from the pupils, faculty and staff in the classrooms and hallways through cheers, chants and songs, but principal Joy Leavitt thought the school needed to show its pride on the outside as well.

Cloggers have date at Disney

      The Vegas Valley Cloggers are going to Disney World.
      The performing clogging team has already accepted the invitation to perform at Disney World as well as on a three-day, two-night Disney cruise June 21-27. One thing standing between 40 8- to 12-year-old girls and the Floridian Magic Kingdom is funding.
