      Throughout the year, a number of southwest Henderson residents spend their time sharing their love of reading with students at a Henderson elementary school.
      Last month, members of the Desert Willow Literary Guild at Sun City MacDonald Ranch capped their 1999 efforts by presenting 500 new books to students at Taylor Elementary.

New bar caters to tea lovers

      The coffee house concept got a new twist recently when a tea bar opened its doors in Las Vegas, touting the healing qualities of the other hot caffeinated beverage that usually takes a back seat to coffee in America.
      Manela and Funi Antuna opened the Healing Cup, 8876 S. Eastern Ave., two months ago in the Southeast, and so far Las Vegans seem to be going for tea.
