      The Magical Forest sponsorship program is in full swing at Opportunity Village.
      The Magical Forest is a virtual village with hundreds of lighted trees, entertainment, gingerbread houses, Christmas trees for sale, concessions and craft booths. The organization is funded entirely by community donations.

Grant sends Bell pupils on state trip

      A class of fourth-graders at Bell Elementary was treated to an overnight trip June 21 and 22 to learn about the Silver State, thanks to a $20,000 Nevada Gaming Foundation grant.
      The grant, totalling $200,000, was given to a total of 10 Las Vegas Valley schools.
