Christian apologist to speak Friday

Hallelujah Fellowship invites the public to hear Dave Hunt, a Christian apologist and writer, speak Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
The event will take place at the church, 3630 N. Rancho Drive.

n Temple Beth Sholom Women's League is sponsoring a trip Wednesday to the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Those interested should arrive at 8516 W. Lake Mead Blvd. by 6 p.m. Cost is $8 per person, which includes a chair.

n The Jewish Family Service Agency of Las Vegas is seeking volunteers to help seniors who are unable to shop for themselves.

n Green Valley United Methodist Church, 2200 Robindale Road, invites third-, fourth- and fifth-grade children to SonZone Discovery Center, a vacation Bible school program.
The program runs Monday through June 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be songs, crafts, games, Bible studies and snacks.

n Congregation Ner Tamid invites the public to a Shavout service for outgoing Rabbinic intern Neal Schuster at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The temple is located at 2761 Emerson Ave. The service will be followed by a special oneg in honor of Schuster.
