Neville Brothers playing Primm
View
Rhythm and blues superstars the Neville Brothers will bring their unique sound to Buffalo Bill's Star of the Desert Arena in Primm on June 28 at 7:30 p.m.
The Neville Brothers -- Aaron, Art, Charles and Cyril -- have sold millions of records worldwide. They have obtained gold and platinum records in six different countries and were honored with a Grammy Award in 1988. Their music has been hailed by music writers in nearly every major periodical in the country, and their explosive live performances are legendary.
Prior to forming the Neville Brothers in 1977, each of the four talented brothers had achieved success as solo artists, but have found working together to be the most rewarding.
"Valance Street," the Neville Brother's latest release, is a sweeping landscape of their current musical modes, as well as a reflection of their fabulously rich musical past. The album was named after the street in uptown New Orleans where the Nevilles grew up, and brings them home to the heart of their music. Throughout their careers the brothers have helped lay the foundation for the entire New Orleans music community.
