Imagine waking up with the sun. Then climbing on a bike and riding north on Anthem Parkway, down Eastern Avenue, over to Sunset Station and then back again. For 52-year-old Dan Harrison there's nothing figurative about it when he clicks his bike shoes into the pedals of his Specialized bicycle with just that intention.

MISS FITNESS NEVADA: Cheerleader captures crown

Nicole Klafter-Phillips said she'd always wanted to enter a fitness contest, but the UNLV cheerleader did much more than that recently. In a dynamic debut, Phillips earned the title of Miss Fitness Nevada at a contest in Laughlin.
