Softball team defies heat to make national tourney

The temperatures on the field reached close to 120 degrees, but it didn't stop the Vegas Fury 16-and-under girls fast-pitch softball team from advancing to the championship game of the recent ASA All-Star State Tournament at Silver Bowl Park.
