Juanita Jean Balfour Harris

Juanita Jean Balfour Harris, 73, died May 18 in Las Vegas.

She was born August 26, 1927 in Oregon. A business owner in the lumber and

hardware industry, she was a winter visitor in Pahrump for 10 years.

She is survived by her husband, Sam F. Harris of Pahrump and Roseburg,

Ore.; sons, Ed Balfour (Harriet) of Oregon, Marko Balfour of Arizona and

Sam F. Harris of Idaho; daughters, Markay Havercroft, Carol Poe and Tracey

Harris all of Oregon; brother John Wimer of Reno; sisters, Glenda Hedges of

Colorado and Betty Andrews of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; two

great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held June 30 at Honeyman Park south of Florence, Ore.

The Neptune Society of Nye County handled arrangements.

Jean Ellen Kilborn

Jean Ellen Kilborn, 69, died May 21 in Las Vegas.

She was born Oct. 20, 1931 in Pasadena, Calif. An advertising manager in the newspaper industry, she was a 10-year resident of Pahrump.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald William Kilborn, and a daughter, Diane Martini, of Virginia.

Private family services were held. Neptune Society of Nye County handled the arrangements.

Mary Margaret Miles

Mary Margaret Miles, 62, died May 20 in Pahrump.

She was born July 1, 1938 in San Francisco, Calif. A clerk in the grocery industry, she was a seven-year resident of Pahrump.

She is survived by her husband, Glen E. Miles, of Pahrump; stepmother, Lucille "Sandy" Jackson, of Pahrump; sons, Marc W. Miles (Jackie), of Pahrump, Roderick E. Miles (Pam), of Montana, and Gary Miles of California; daughter, Karen Baudoin (Tony) of California; brother Frederic Joseph Jackson of California; sister, Doris Jackson of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held May 26 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church with Pastor Ron Mayer officiating.

Arrangements were handled by the Neptune Society of Nye County.
