Nevada First ranked

strongest again

Nevada First Bank announced that it was once again rated the strongest bank in Nevada by Weiss Ratings Inc.

The bank's B+ rating means that, according to Weiss, Nevada First offers good financial security and has the resources to deal with a variety of adverse economic conditions. The Weiss Recommended List of companies includes 2,668 banks representing the top 26.9 percent of the industry.

Nevada First Bank has three local branches, including new headquarters at 777 N. Rainbow Blvd.

Station Casinos picks

East operations VP

Vicki LePore has been named vice president of player development for Station Casinos' East Las Vegas operations. LePore is responsible for development and implementation of player programs at Boulder Station, the Reserve, Sunset Station and the new Green Valley Ranch Station Casino, which is under construction.

LePore previously worked for Caesars World Marketing, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and Mandalay Bay.

Tribeca moves

to Russell office

Tribeca Media, a public relations and advertising firm serving Southern Nevada, has relocated to new offices at 3430 E. Russell Road. The firm was previously established in Henderson.

Established in 1999, Tribeca has clients in gaming, hospitality, development, nonprofit and retail industries.

Business Bank gives

to school, shelter

Business Bank of Nevada recently donated computer screens, hard drives and keyboards to both the New Horizons Academy and MASH Village, along with an additional $1,000 donation to MASH.

"We greatly appreciate Business Bank's generosity and commitment to helping homeless families in our area to get back on their feet," said Dean Collins, vice president of development for the shelter.

starts bridal magazine

Las Vegas Life Bride, a bi-annual, 64-page wedding planner magazine, was recently launched by Las Vegas Life magazine.

The new publication features the city's top 75 reception sites, bridal bouquets, wedding favors, cakes, honeymoon spots, gowns, music and tips for weddings. The issue is set to hit bookstores and newsstands in July, and is also available online at www.vegas.com/ weddings.
