Lobelson starts new PR firm

Henderson resident Holly Lobelson has started a new public relations firm, impress communications. The firm will specialize in corporate public relations with clients in technology, legal, financial and transportation.

"I'm excited about opening a new firm in the growing Southern Nevada market," Lobelson said. "I'm looking forward to branding clients' names in their target markets and helping them reach their ultimate marketing goals."

Lobelson previously handled public relations for Las Vegas' IT Strategies International Corps and was a partner at MassMedia Public Relations. She was also honored as a newspaper reporter in Southern California, winning awards from the Society of Professional Journalists.

Business Bank hires new loan officer

Business Bank of Nevada has hired Darrin S. Hansen as a new commercial loan officer for its branch in the northwest part of the valley, at 7280 W. Lake Mead Blvd.

Hansen, formerly of Yourtrade.com Securities, Inc., will be responsible for generating and servicing commercial lending business in northwest Las Vegas. Hansen is a UNLV graduate.

Summerlin gets storage space

Storage @ Summerlin, a new "state of the art" storage facility, recently opened at 1650 Crestdale Lane, just south of Summerlin Parkway.

The Storage @ Summerlin facility has 510 units of storage space, ranging in size from five-by-five to 20-by-50 feet. Units are individually alarmed and protected by closed circuit camera surveillance and computerized gate entry. The facility also includes 27 spaces for RV or boat storage.

Wynn to speak at gaming congress

Steve Wynn will be one of three keynote speakers at the general assembly of the 15th annual World Gaming Congress and Expo in October at the Sand's Expo Center.

Among the WGCE's educational conference topics will be Indian gaming, lottery and linked electronic games, hospitality and jurisdictional updates.

"Wynn's appearance speaks volumes to the importance and seriousness of the World Gaming Congress," said Peter N. Havens, executive Vice President for GEM Communications.

Manpower Inc. expands to Henderson
