Trees aren't the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks about the desert. However, the city of Henderson has recently received national recognition for its commitment to Arbor Day and has been named a Tree City USA.

Galleria gives back by awarding scholarships

People go to the mall for a lot of reasons, but for five Henderson high school students, a trip to the mall is helping them pay for college. Galleria at Sunset mall executives and part owners Joan and Leslie Dunn awarded $1,000 scholarships for the fifth year to students at local high schools who won an essay contest.
