Everett Anderson
Everett "Andy" Anderson, 73, died Aug. 15 in Las Vegas.
He was born March 30, 1929 in Illinois. A resident of Pahrump since 1991, he retired in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Anderson of Pahrump; son, Greg Anderson of California; daughter, Teresa Mir of Las Vegas; stepchildren, Marcia (Mike) Thomas of Las Vegas, Sue (Jeff) Haub of Arizona; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Pahrump Family Mortuary Chapel with interment at the Veteran's Cemetery in Boulder City. Pahrump Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
Joseph Derzak
Joseph Lewis Derzak, 77, died Aug. 13 in Beatty.
He was born March 17, 1925 in Wyoming, Pa. A resident of Beatty, he was a retired cost analyst in the aerospace industry.
He is survived by his brother, John Derzak of Pennsylvania; sister, Florence Stuppak of New York; and niece, Patricia Paul of Pennsylvania.
Private family services will be held. Neptune Society of Nye County handled the arrangements.
Nello Greer
Nello I. Greer, 80, formerly of Pahrump, died Aug. 15 in Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Mariellen Greer; sons, Charles Greer of Iowa, Scott Greer of California; daughter, Leslie Huch of Virginia; foster daughter, Martha Martinez of Arizona; sisters, Elaine Tanner and Margaret Anderson both of California; brothers, Dr. Harvey Greer and James Greer both of California; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held in Buena Vista, Va. Lomax Funeral Home of Virginia handled the arrangements.
Vickie Marsh
Vickie Lee Marsh, 47, died Aug. 10 in Searchlight.
She was born March 31, 1955 in Anaheim, Calif. She worked as a bingo manager for a local casino and was a 13-year resident of Pahrump.
She is survived by her father, Floyd and stepmother Barbara McCasland of Pahrump; mother, Roslie; daughters, Michelle (John) Gebhart of Arizona, Jennifer (Edward) Murph of Reno; brother, Alson McCasland of California; sisters, Anita Schlough and Mary Shephard of Arizona; four grandchildren; and companion, Kelley Mendenhal of Searchlight.
Services will be held Saturday at the First Southern Baptist Church, 741 E. Fehrs Way and Highway 160. Pastor Ron Trummell is presiding. Neptune Society of Nye County handled the arrangements.
