"Hour of Redemption" author Forrest Bryant Johnson talks about the six years he spent doing research for the book. The true story of the liberation of a prisoner of war camp during World War II had facsinated him since he was a child.

AUTHOR: Retracing world history

Forrest Bryant Johnson is reaping the rewards today of work he did more than 20 years ago. His book, "Hour of Redemption," was rereleased in the middle of September. It is the same book, previously out of print, that is referred to liberally in the best-selling book "Ghost Stories" by Hampton Sides.
