VOLLEYBALL

Co-ed leagues signing up for season

Registration is being offered for co-ed volleyball leagues at Home Courts, located at 7485 Commercial Way in Henderson. Games are slated to take place Monday and Tuesday nights.

The registration fee is $270 per team and leagues are slated to start Jan. 12. Those interested can also call 523-0532.

BASKETBALL

Winter league plays on Saturdays

The Nevada Basketball Association, in conjunction with the Tarkanian Basketball Academy, has scheduled registration for its Winter Basketball League, slated to start Saturday. The league is open to boys and girls in grades K-12 and games will be played Saturdays at Christ the King Church.

The registration fee is $110 per player, or $80 for TBA members, and a team entry fee is $640. Those interested can call the TBA at 610-3853 or send an e-mail to tarkanian@earthlink.net. Registration can also be mailed, to 2905 Justice Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89107.

League schedules registration

Sports Center has scheduled registration for an upcoming youth basketball league, open to players in grades one through eight. The league will be played at a central Las Vegas location and is scheduled to start Jan. 22. The registration fee is $80 per player, with discounts for multiple sign-ups.

SOFTBALL

Henderson league needs seniors

The Henderson Senior Softball League is looking for players to fill several divisions in its spring league, which will play at the new Anthem Park.

Players are needed in the men's 40 to 55-year-old age group and 55 and older. Women 40 and older are needed to start a women's league, and all men and women 50 and older are needed to start a co-ed league.
