The architecture vignette highlights the differences and similarities between major monuments in the world. The scene is one of 10 included in the Walker International Elementary School mural, completed on Valentine's Day.

EDUCATIONAL ART: International exposure

The more than 700 students at the new J. Marlan Walker International Elementary School will not only get an opportunity to enjoy art in every school hallway, but the art is educational. A winding mural including flags from around the world and themed vignettes has just been finished at the school by Henderson artist Steve Thomason.
