Sunrise Zoning
On June 3, the Planning Commission recommended to:
Approve a waiver of development standards to reduce the front yard setback on approximately 156 acres in a medium density residential zone within the Master Planned Community known as the Quarry located on the south side of Sahara Avenue and the east side of Hollywood Boulevard.
On June 4, the Planning Commission recommended to:
Approve a zone change to reclassify approximately 5 acres from rural estates residential zone to medium density residential zone for a single family residential subdivision within the Quarry Concept Plan area and waivers of development standards for the following: 1) to permit modified street improvement standards; and 2) reduce setbacks located on the south side of Sahara Avenue approximately 886 feet east of Hollywood Boulevard.
Approve a zone change to reclassify 20 acres from manufactured home residential zone to medium density residential zone for a single family residential subdivision located between Greyhound Lane and Hamilton Avenue, and 650 feet east of Steptoe Street.
Approve holdover waivers of development standards for the following: 1) increase wall height in a planned unit development; and 2) increase building pad elevations on 15.8 acres in a rural estates residential zone in conjunction with a residential planned unit development and a waiver of condition of UC-1135-02 requiring landscaping in accordance with Figure 30.64-8 adjacent to rights-of-way in conjunction with a residential planned unit development located on the east side of Radwick Drive and the north side of Montana Avenue.
On June 5, the Planning Commission recommended to:
Approve a tentative map consisting of 155 single family residential lots on 20 acres in a medium density residential zone located between Greyhound Lane and Hamilton Avenue, and 650 feet east of Steptoe Street.
Approve a holdover zone change to reclassify 7.4 acres from general commercial zone to multiple family residential zone for an apartment complex located on the north side of Sahara Avenue and the west side of Orchard Valley Drive.
