to hold lunch series

The Henderson Business Resource Center has scheduled the "Meet the Experts" luncheon series, events enabling business principals to ask questions and get answers about a variety of business issues.

NDBI to open

two lending sites

After gaining budget approval from the State Interim Finance Committee, the Nevada Department of Business and Industry is set to open the new Mortgage Lending Division in two locations: at 400 W. King St., Suite 406 in Carson City, and at 3075 E. Flamingo Road, Suite 104-A, in Las Vegas.

MLD was created by the 2003 legislature to take over the licensing and regulation of escrow agents and agencies and mortgage brokers, previously under the jurisdiction of the Financial Institutions Division. MLD's Web site is up and running at www.mld.nv.gov.
