ACTIVITIES

FIRST FRIDAY, a monthly cultural open house and street festival held in the downtown Las Vegas Arts District, returns every first Friday of the month, from 6 to 10 p.m. Maps of the Arts District may be found at The Funk House, 1228 South Casino Center. They will also be available the evening of FIRST FRIDAY at S2Art, One East Charleston, or at The Red Rooster Antique Mall, 1109 Western Avenue. The City of Las Vegas will provide transportation for the entire evening via the City of Las Vegas Arts Bus, which makes stops at The Funk House, Arts Factory, Red Rooster and The Icehouse every half hour starting at 6 p.m. For more information, call 384-0092 or visit www.whirlygiglasvegas.org.

ART FAIRS

DANCE

The Las Vegas Old Time Barn Dances, are held once a month with the evenings beginning with a workshop at 6:30 p.m., followed by dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. General admission is usually $6, or $3 for students and active military.
