VIEW NEWSPAPERS

The 17th annual Las Vegas Harvest Festival kicks off Friday at Cashman Center, with 250 arts and crafts exhibitors, live bands and strolling entertainment.

Goods available for purchase at the three-day festival include woodcarvings, jewelry, ceramics, hand-painted clothing, leather wear, hand-blown glassware, toys, paintings and furniture.

Admission is $7.50 for adults, $4.50 for children younger than 12 and $6.50 for seniors. One ticket is good for all three days of the festival. There is a $1 admission reduction for those who bring a can of food or baby formula. All donations go to Safe Nest for families enduring domestic crises.
