ACTIVITIES
Third Thursday, a monthly celebration of the local art scene, is held from 5 until 9 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month in the Water Street District of downtown Henderson. Downtown businesses stay open to host art, entertainment, food and special offers. The event is free to the public and the whole family is invited. For more information, call 568-6300.
First Friday, a monthly cultural open house and street festival held in the downtown Las Vegas Arts District, returns every first Friday of the month, from 6 to 10 p.m. Maps of the Arts District may be found at The Funk House, 1228 South Casino Center. They will also be available the evening of First Friday at S2Art, 1 E. Charleston Blvd., or at The Red Rooster Antique Mall, 1109 Western Avenue. DANCE
