EDUCATION

First-time students eligible for scholarship

First-time enrolling students at Community College of Southern Nevada are eligible for a one-time scholarship that pays tuition and technology fees for their first college course.

Receiving the scholarship does not disqualify students from obtaining other financial aid. Students must not be eligible for the state's Millennium Scholarship, must be Nevada residents and have a total family income of less than $60,000.

Classes begin Monday with late enrollment continuing through Sept. 3.
