Strollers to roll during annual benefit walk

This year's Stroller Roll is slated for for 9 a.m., Tuesday at Trails Park, 1910 Spring Gate Lane. It promises to be full of tykes in decorated strollers vying for prizes.

The 1-mile fun walk is presented by The Howard Hughes Corp. to benefit the Family to Family Connection Infant Support District No. 13 and New Baby Center. The center provides classes, library resources, home visits and other services for parents and their infants and toddlers.

The infant with the "best ride" at the Stroller Roll will be honored in the stroller decorating contest. Other activities include a raffle drawing, music, refreshments, visits with Summerlin Sam, Elmo, the Care Bear Love-a-lot Bear and Dorothy the Dinosaur.

The cost to participate is $20 for an individual with a baby, plus $15 for each additional family member.
