Logan Vig, son of Claire Michels of Henderson and Andrew Vig of Rapid City, S.D., has enrolled for fall 2005 admission at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Vig will major in applied networking and systems administration in RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.
He is a graduate of Advanced Technologies Academy.
Zachary Dix Hale has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest academic honor society, at Harvard College.
Hale, whose parents are Victoria and Raymond Hale of Henderson, is one of the elite Junior 24, a select group of Harvard students named to the society in their junior year based on outstanding academic achievement.
Hale, who attended Green Valley High School, concentrates in social studies and philosophy at Harvard. He lives in Quincy House, one of the 13 student houses at Harvard, and he is active as managing editor of the Harvard Review of Philosophy.
