The 2005 Spring Home & Garden Expo will be held at the Galleria at Sunset mall from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The event will feature products and services designed to enhance home interior and exterior and a variety of companies will be on hand to exhibit all things related to home and garden.

David Saxe's third Annual Benefit for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis will be held Friday at 9 p.m. at the V Theater in the Desert Passage shops at the Aladdin. Proceeds benefit ALS of Nevada, the only not-for-profit voluntary health organization in Nevada that provides direct, hands-on assistance to those suffering from ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

VIP tickets are $150 per person, which includes a 7:30 p.m. VIP cocktail party and preferred seating.

The Henderson Art Association's early spring exhibit is on display through April 4 at the Lake Las Vegas Resort's Reflection Bay Golf Clubhouse-Rotunda Room at 75 MiraLago Blvd. The featured artist is watercolorist Jo Firm.
