Area companies name new personnel

Adam Merrin has been named director of marketing and Josh Merrin has been appointed director of business development at CelebritySpeakerEntertainment.com.

Brown & Partners hired Jeremy Hume as advertising account coordinator.

Jessica Juneau has been hired as the assistant branch sales manager and Dan Regan has been named senior vice president with Colonial Bank of Nevada.

Carlo Cannuscio has been appointed to general manager of Valentino Restaurant in the Venetian.

PROMOTIONS

Professionals attain new job positions

Sun West Bank has promoted Maureen Olden to assistant vice president.

Fred Buonacorsi has been promoted to executive vice president of operations for the West region with GES Exposition Services, Inc.

Sunrise Hospital makes staff changes

Former chief financial officer of Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Chris Alan Taylor, has been promoted to market chief financial officer of HCA's Sunrise Health. Taylor now will oversee the operational and capital budgeting for four Las Vegas-based HCA hospitals.

Douglas Long has joined Sunrise Hospital as vice president of professional services. Previously, Long served as director of clinical services for Carson - Tahoe Hospital in Carson City. Long now will be responsible for several of the ancillary services departments.

RELOCATING

Local business moves to new offices

Rigging Technologies Inc. has relocated their Las Vegas offices to 6285 S. Valley View Road, Suite F.

In addition to housing both their production rigging and rope access divisions, the new facility includes a 3,000-square-foot rope access training center. Rigging Technologies will be offering a series of rope access training courses, as well as courses and certification in repelling, for businesses that work at height, such as local sign companies.

2005 Board of Directors announced

The 2005 Bank of Nevada Board of Directors will be lead by chairman of the board Peter Becker of Spanish Trails Associates. Other members of the Board include: president, chief executive officer and vice chairman of the board John Gaynor; executive vice president and chief operating officer Richard M. Helgren; executive vice president and chief financial officer Patricia L. Kirkwood; Shelli Lowe of Integra Shelli Lowe & Associates; Michael W. Morrissey of Morrissey Insurance; Vern Ratzlaff of Financial Strategies, Inc. Mark Schnippel of Investors Realty group; Earl D. McVicker of Central Financial Corporation and Dennis DeCius.

The Nevada Contractors Association, a nonprofit industry trade group, named Brent Conrad of Werdco B.C., to its board of directors.
