ARTS ACTIVITIES

Third Thursday, a monthly celebration of the local art scene, is held from 5 until 9 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month in the Water Street District of downtown Henderson. Downtown businesses stay open to host art, entertainment, food and special offers. The event is free to the public and the whole family is invited. For more information, call 568-6300.

First Friday, a monthly cultural open house and street festival held in the downtown Las Vegas Arts District, is held every first Friday of the month, from 6 to 10 p.m. Maps of the Arts District may be found at The Funk House, 1228 S. Casino Center Drive. They will also be available the evening of First Friday at S2Art, One E. DANCE

Tahitian-Cook Islands Dance Classes are held every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. Beginners, intermediate and advanced level classes are offered.
