At its Sept. 28 meeting, the North Las Vegas Planning Commission voted to:

Approve and forward to the City Council for consideration an amendment to the comprehensive plan, land use element, from low density to medium low density residential and a reclassification of property from ranch estates to planned unit development consisting of 105 single-family residences at the southeast corner of Ann Road and Bruce Street.

Approve a tentative map in a ranch estates district consisting of 105 single family dwellings at the southeast corner of Ann Road and Bruce Street.

Deny an amendment to the comprehensive plan, land use element, from community commercial and high density residential to medium low density residential at the northwest corner of Centennial Parkway and Donna Street.

Deny an application to reclassify from planned unit development and neighborhood commercial to single-family residential at the northwest corner of Centennial Parkway and Donna Street.

Continue indefinitely an application for a tentative map in a planned unit development and neighborhood commercial district consisting of 96 single-family dwellings at the northeast corner of Centennial Parkway and Donna Street.

Approve a use permit in a general commercial district for the "on sale" of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with a supper club at the southwest corner of Kings Hill Road and Craig Road.

Continue to today an application for a site plan review in a general industrial district for 259,808 square feet of industrial commercial development at the northwest corner of Ann Road and Hollywood Boulevard.

Continue to today an application for a use permit in a general industrial district to allow a convenience food restaurant with drive-through at the northwest corner of Ann Road and Hollywood Boulevard.

Approve and forward to the City Council for consideration an amendment to the comprehensive plan, land use element, from community commercial to low density residential and a reclassification from planned unit development to single-family residential district south of Craig Road 750 feet west of Allen Lane.

Continue to today an application to reclassify from planned unit development to planned unit development consisting of a mini-warehousing facility at the southwest corner of Craig Road and Allen Lane.

Continue indefinitely an application for a use permit in a neighborhood commercial district to allow a convenience food store with gas pumps at the southeast corner of Decatur Boulevard and Horse Drive.

Continue to today an application for a use permit in a general industrial district to allow a convenience food store with gas pumps at the southeast corner of Lamb Boulevard and Smiley Road.

Approve a use permit in a general industrial district to allow an overall sign height of 30 feet, where 18 feet is allowed at 2312 E. Craig Road.

Continue to today an amendment to the comprehensive plan, land use element, from low density residential to community commercial at the northeast corner of North Fifth Street and Rome Boulevard.

Continue to today an application to reclassify property from ranch estates to general commercial at the northeast corner of North Fifth Street and Rome Boulevard.

Continue to today an application to vacate a portion of Engel Avenue from North Fifth Street to Donna Street and a portion of Hope Street from Deer Springs Way to Rome Boulevard.

Approve a use permit in a general industrial district to allow a financial institution at the southeast corner of Cheyenne Avenue and California Avenue.

Approve a variance in a general commercial district to allow a 20-foot setback between a commercial building and a residential zone boundary where 30 feet is required south of Cheyenne Avenue 250 feet west of Carroll Street.

Approve and forward to the City Council for consideration an amendment to the comprehensive plan, land use element, from community commercial to high density residential at the northwest corner of Centennial Parkway and Valley Drive.

Approve and forward to the City Council for consideration a vacation of Valley Drive from the Las Vegas Beltway right-of-way proceeding south 490 linear feet.

Approve and forward to the City Council for consideration a reclassification of property from general commercial to planned unit development and a tentative map consisting of 492 condominiums in six-unit and 12-unit buildings at the northwest corner of Centennial Parkway and Valley Drive.

Continue to today an application for an amendment to a previously approved use permit in a general industrial district to allow an expansion of an auto repair facility at 3420 Precision Drive.

Continue to today an application for a use permit in a general industrial district to allow a temporary trailer at 4200 Frehner Road.

Approve a site plan review in a neighborhood commercial district requesting a waiver to the commercial development standards and the design guidelines requirement to reduce the required perimeter landscaping along Pecos Road from 25 to 20 feet and orient the building to the rear of the site west of Pecos Road 125 feet south of Gowan Road.

Continue to today an application for a final development plan review in a planned unit development district consisting of a 189-unit multi-family development at the southeast corner of Ranch House Road and Montgomery Street.

Approve a site plan review in a neighborhood commercial district for 228,770 square feet of commercial retail buildings at the northeast corner of Ann and Losee roads.

Continue to today an application for a site plan review in a general commercial district for a waiver of building orientation at the southeast corner of North Fifth Street and Centennial Parkway.

Approve a final development plan review in a planned unit development district consisting of 85 units of single-family dwellings at the southwest corner of Ann Road and Commerce Street.

Approve a site plan review in a general industrial district for an automobile impound yard at 2102 E. Alexander Road.

Continue to Oct. 26 an application to reclassify property from multi-family residential to high density residential at the northwest corner of North Fifth Street and Deer Springs Way.

Continue to Oct. 26 an application to reclassify property from ranch estates to high density residential at the southeast corner of Goldfield Street and Deer Springs Way.

Continue to Oct. 26 an application for a tentative map in a general commercial district and general service district consisting of 26.5 acres of commercial subdivision at the southwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road.

Approve a tentative map in a ranch estates district consisting of 90 units of townhouses at the southwest corner of North Fifth Street and Regena Avenue.

Approve a site plan review in a general commercial district and planned unit development district to allow a 312-unit, multi-family development at the southeast corner of Regena Avenue and North Fifth Street.

Deny an amendment to the comprehensive plan, land use element, from medium density residential to industrial at the southeast corner of Gowan Road and Civic Center Drive.

Deny a reclassification of property from single-family residential to general industrial at the southeast corner of Gowan Road and Civic Center Drive.

Approve and forward to the City Council for consideration a reclassification of property from ranch estates to two-family residential at the southeast corner of Regena Avenue and Goldfield Street.

Deny a tentative map in a ranch estates residential district consisting of 44 lots for a two-family development at the southeast corner of Regena Avenue and Goldfield Street.

Approve a final development plan review in a planned unit development consisting of 82 single family dwellings north of Centennial Parkway 840 feet west of Commerce Street.
