At its Nov. 20 meeting, the Clark County Planning Commission voted to:

Approve the zone change & development plan to reclassify approximately 94.0 acres of an overall 107.0 acres from C-2 (Commercial General) P-C (Planned Community Overlay District) Zone to R-5 (Apartment Residential) P-C (Planned Community Overlay District) Zone of a portion of Village 13 West for a mixed use development; use permits for the following: 1) establish modified residential development standards; 2) establish modified commercial development standards; 3) permit outdoor business activities and other associated uses; 4) permit a non-gaming hotel; 5) permit outside dining and eating areas; and 6) all associated accessory and incidental commercial uses, buildings, and structures; variance to reduce on-site parking requirements; design reviews for the following: 1) all associated accessory uses, recreational areas and 2) decorative water features on 107.0 acres in a portion of Village 13 West within the Summerlin South Master Planned Community for a mixed-use development as part of the Summerlin Town Center on 107.0 acres on the north side of Sahara Avenue and the west side of Pavilion Center Drive.

At its Nov. 22 meeting, the commission voted to:

Approve the waiver to allow early grading for a future mixed-use project on approximately 202.0 acres in a C-2 (General Commercial) Zone and an R-5 (Apartment Residential) Zone in a P-C (Planned Community Overlay District) Zone in Summerlin Village 13 within the Summerlin South Master Planned Community south of Charleston Boulevard and west of Town Center Drive.

Approve the holdover appeal use permit to expand a previously approved place of worship, school/daycare facility; variances for the following: 1) reduce the front setbacks for an accessory structure (guard booth); and 2) reduce the rear setbacks for an accessory structure (parking garage) (no longer needed) on approximately 7.0 acres in an R-2 (Medium Density Residential) P-C (Planned Community Overlay District) Zone in Summerlin Village 14A in the Summerlin South Master Planned Community on the northwest corner of Havenwood Lane and Town Center Drive.
