After reading your article ("Yes Golfers, There Is a Santa Claus," Prime View, Dec. 7) I was disappointed to see that you left out Desert Willow Golf Course, which was recently awarded by Vegas Golfer magazine as "The Best Executive Golf Course in Las Vegas for 2005."
Our golf course is located smack dab in the middle of Sun City MacDonald Ranch and can easily be completed in three hours.

I read your article this a.m. about executive and par 3 golf courses ("Yes Golfers, There Is a Santa Claud, Prime View, Dec. 7).
As a resident of Desert Willow, I was disappointed that you did not see fit to mention our golf course in your article. It is an executive par 60 but challenging course. And, yes, you should be able to play in three hours.
Come on out and give us a try, you won't be disappointed.
CAROL RASMUSSEN HENDERSON
I just read your article ("Yes Golfers, There Is a Santa Claus, Prime View, Dec. 7). I notice that you did not mention Desert Willow Golf Course. We were voted best executive golf course by Vegas Golfer magazine this year! Our course is 3,811 yard, par 60. Our course has 6 par 4 and 12 par 3 including an uphill 200 yard par 3. We have three holes that water comes into to play. Two that are par 4 that you have to go over the water to reach the green. Our slope rating is 91. Our price is $25 after 11 a.m. and that includes a cart for
Clark County residents and non-residents. How can you beat that deal. We have new bunkers and carts, not to mention the challenge of hitting out of rough. If you have ever played our course you will notice the beautiful view of the strip on the back nine. We are also very big on the junior program at Desert Willow. We're the only course in Las Vegas that has junior tees. We give junior golf rates from ages 6 to 15 after 1 p.m. for only $10 for 18 holes.
