Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, along with the city of Las Vegas, invites adults ages 50 and older to join him for a free fitness power walk on Jan. 31 in the Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Lane near U.S. Highway 95 at Valley View Blvd. Participants will meet at the mall's food court, on the upper level, at 8 a.m. A continental breakfast will be provided. "Fitness is important for people of all ages, especially seniors," Goodman said. "I encourage our seniors to participate in this walk to help them get on the right track to good health." Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. No RSVP required.
