Announcements must include all of the following details: times, dates, addresses and telephone numbers to call for information and must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the event. Parkinson's Support Group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. at First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive. For more information, call 564-5416.

Widowed Bereavement and Grief Support Group meets at 7 p.m. every Wednesday at First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive, Room 4. Groups are for individuals and families dealing with a relationship loss. Meetings are free and do not focus on legal or religious issues. Las Vegas Chapter of Tri-Ess - The Society for the Second Self, a support group for cross-dressers, has a monthly meetings for heterosexual cross-dressers, wives, girlfriends and significant others. The caregiver support group meets from 7-8 p.m. the last Thursday of each month at Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, 6070 S. Eastern Avenue, Suite 200.
