Marchers gather on Strip to draw attention to Darfur

About 300 area high school students, teachers and residents marched down the Strip on March 18, chanting "Save Darfur" and carrying signs with similar messages.

The group marched to raise awareness about genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan, Africa.

Gorman team sees losses to graduation

After winning the school's first state baseball championship in 2006 and competing in the American Legion World Series over the summer, it seems Bishop Gorman is without question the team to beat this season.

The Gaels finished with a record of 35-7-1 last year, finishing third in the Southwest Division in the regular season before starting a remarkable run to claim the Sunrise Region title and then the Class 4A Nevada state championship.
